The word is out that bingo is about to take to the stage to celebrate its unforgettable past. So it looks as though we roomies are going to have a fun filled night out next summer at the Royal Exchange during the Manchester International Festival of 2009. Apparently Neil Bartlett with be bringing bingo to life in a production designed to celebrate the delights of the UK’s all-time favorite game.
Neil Bartlett is a highly acclaimed writer and director who will be depicting all the fun that has been had over the years for bingo players. Although the production will probably not go into the ins and outs of online bingo, it certainly promises to be a fun outing to say the least.
The game of bingo has played a very important role in communities in the UK for a great many years. There would almost certainly not been a demand for online bingo, had the game not been so popular within UK communities. In this context it is great to hear that the game is being immortalized into a production of this nature, and recognized as a fundamental part of the UK’s socio cultural past.
The show is to be named “Everyone’s a Winner” and will be an interactive production with audience participation. The audience will have the opportunity to play free bingo during the show, as part of the entertainment experience. And we have heard that a prominent “North west” comic is to be involved in the production.
