One lucky pensioner from Bridgewater is thanking his lucky stars after having won more than ₤11 000 playing bingo at the Mecca Club in Penel Orlieu. The Duty Manager of the club, Lee Rothery said that the man was completely gob-smacked and he actually didn’t know what to say when they gave him the good news of his winnings. He won ₤10 118 on the national Bingo Game, a Regional prize of ₤1 091 and the house prize of ₤44. That evening the money up for grabs in the National Bingo Game coffers was actually ₤30 354 but two other players, one in Bristol and another in Edinburgh also called full house in forty five numbers so the prize money was split three ways.

The online bingo site Bingo.com is planning to expand its horizons beyond the United Kingdom and in order to do this they have had to increase their cash flow. This is after all the only way to fund any expansion programme. So what Bingo.com did is place two million common shares on the stock market at thirty cents each. Obviously this was a wise move and the shares were snatched up, raising $600 000 for the company. The new shares were placed under the Regulation S exemptions with non Unites States residents.
